Social Responsibility Policy

U. Del Corona & Scardigli srl has adopted a policy on social responsibility and working conditions that allows us to manage related situations and commits us to continuous improvement. To this end, relevant national laws, other applicable regulations, and the principles of international conventions are observed.

Regarding the above:

  • The company does not use or support the use of child labor or young workers subject to local compulsory education laws;
  • The company does not use or support the use of forced labor and does not require personnel to leave deposits of money or identity documents at the start of employment;
  • The company, considering the prevailing state of knowledge, ensures a safe and healthy workplace and takes appropriate measures to prevent accidents and health damage that may occur during work or as a result of it, minimizing as reasonably practicable the hazards attributable to the work environment;
  • The company appoints a management representative responsible for the health and safety of all personnel and for implementing the safety and health factors provided for in this standard;
  • The company ensures that personnel receive regular and documented training on safety and health, and that such training is repeated for new and reassigned personnel; and the company respects the right of personnel to join unions of their choice and the right to collective bargaining;
  • The company does not engage in or support discrimination in hiring, remuneration, access to training, promotion, termination, or retirement based on race, caste, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, union membership, or political affiliation;
  • The company does not interfere with the personnel's right to follow principles or practices or meet needs related to race, caste, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or political affiliation;
  • The company does not permit behaviors including gestures, language, or physical contact that are sexually coercive, threatening, abusive, or exploitative;
  • The company complies with the working hours required by current laws and industry standards; in any case, at least one day of rest is provided for every 7 working days;
  • The company ensures that the salary paid for a regular workweek is at least in line with legal or industrial minimum wages;
  • The company also ensures that wages and benefits are provided in full compliance with current laws and that remuneration is given in cash, by check, or bank transfer in the most convenient manner for the workers;
  • The company guarantees the training of newly hired or temporary personnel, periodic training, and awareness programs for existing personnel;
  • The company maintains appropriate documentation regarding the commitment of suppliers to social responsibility, which includes but is not limited to the suppliers' written commitment to:
    1. a) Comply with all the requirements of this standard (including this clause);
    2. b) Participate in company monitoring activities as required;
    3. c) Immediately remedy any non-compliance identified with the requirements of this standard;
    4. d) Promptly inform the company of any significant economic relationship with other suppliers and sub-suppliers.
