Policy Statement

Our Human Rights Policy underlines the principles that guide our actions and conduct in this matter, demonstrating our commitment to developing a corporate culture that supports internationally recognized human rights and seeks to avoid complicity. These principles consistently support those contained in the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights” and the “International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work.”

Policy Scope

The human rights policy of U. Del Corona & Scardigli srl is an integral part of the corporate culture aimed at fulfilling our values of honesty, integrity, respect, and responsibility. Del Corona & Scardigli requires its suppliers, providers, and subcontractors to share the commitment to human rights and equal opportunities in the workplace as expressed by the corporate conduct guidelines and this Policy

Policy Objectives

U. Del Corona & Scardigli is committed to:

  • Providing a work environment that does not use forced or child labor; that respects the rights of freedom of association and collective bargaining.
  • Providing a work environment free from harassment and illegal discriminatory practices based on race, color, gender, nationality, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability as described in the Policy against Discrimination, including harassment and retaliation.
  • Compensating collaborators with competitive salaries based on local market evaluations and complying with all laws regarding working conditions, including basic and overtime work hours.
  • Respecting the cultural values of the communities in which it operates, including the rights of indigenous peoples as defined by applicable international standards.
  • Using security services for its operations consistent with relevant international standards only where necessary.
  • Promoting its values to suppliers, providers, and subcontractors and requiring them to adhere to these values.
  • Being attentive to concerns raised by stakeholders and collaborating with them to support human rights within the spheres of activity and influence of U. Del Corona & Scardigli itself.

Policy Responsibility and Implementation

The overall responsibility for the implementation of this Policy rests with the Management, which commits to:

  • Supporting the Policy through orientation and training on policy compliance.
  • Encouraging the reporting of suspected violations of this Policy.
  • Reviewing suspected violations and taking appropriate corrective or other actions.
